SBS Group’s AXIO Launches As Dynamics AX LCS Solution on Azure Marketplace

AXIOSBS Group has launched AXIO Global Core Financials, a solution built on Microsoft Dynamics AX that uses Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) to deliver accelerated deployment schedules and predictable costs for customers, according to company officials.

AXIO is one of the first Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) Solutions to be approved by Microsoft and made available on the Azure Marketplace, pre-configured for deployment in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

The solution is differentiated from Dynamics AX because of its ability "to be up and running in much less time in a very condensed implementation time frame," says Robbie Morrison, Practice Director - Dynamics AX at SBS Group. "That's the primary differentiator, but it also comes with some of our intellectual property."

But the real differentiator is the ability to get a customer up and running in three months or less where a normal Dynamics AX implementation is six to 12 month, Morrisonsays.

Joe Gulino, the Dynamics AX VP of Sales for SBS Group, says to think of AXIO as a "templated, prebuilt, deployable solution."

"Ongoing maintenance and maintaining the environment is also reduced because you're using a fairly standard implementation that will be at multiple customers," Morrison says. "So it's not only a reduced initial implementation expense, we expect it will be a reduced long-term investment expense as well."

AXIO is optimized for companies operating in multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-taxation and/or multi-language environments. It also comes with prebuilt, templated chart of accounts for a multi-national company, Morrison says. "So it will take a third less time to ...
