Resco executives presented the company's product roadmap at Resco Next 2025, outlining plans for progress across three strategic areas: mobile, inspections, and components.

“We're planning an ambitious roadmap because we really think we can add a lot of value to your lives, whether you're a partner or you're a customer,” CEO Andrew Lorraine told the conference audience. “Our product strategy moving forward is really going to focus on [these three distinct areas] that we think are really important for enterprise applications, frontline apps, and mobile apps.”
Mobile: Broad support for field performance
A cornerstone of Resco's strategy remains its mobile platform, used for developing native applications. The company pledged continued support for all major operating systems to support solutions across a broad range of devices. And they noted that their synchronization engine distinguishes itself with performance many times faster than competitors. The sync engine will now incorporate the OpenTelemetry protocol to simplify management, along with AI-driven features to ensure proper configuration steps.
Resco’s flagship Woodford mobile application development tool, which EVP Ivan Stano described as "the heart and soul of Resco tech," will see major enhancements over the next year, including AI assistants for rules, views, and forms creation.

A notable addition will be the Model Driven App Converter, allowing customers to convert model driven Power Apps into Resco applications for side-by-side comparison. Stano explained that organizations focused on Power Apps in their mobile strategy will want to run the conversions and compare the experience.
We know that a lot of customers are playing with Power Apps, evaluating whether it can be the one application that they can use across the organization’s departments and teams. That's why we [are introducing] the MDA converter. We can easily convert your Power Apps experience into Resco and see side by side how performance really compares.

User productivity improvements will focus on core app modules, Stano said, including the shell, the view, the form, the calendar, and the dashboard. The calendar feature, identified as one of the most frequently used, is being completely rebuilt with modern functionality, and those plans drew a round of applause from the audience.
Inspections: The Gen 2 Experience
Resco believes they are taking a big step forward with their "Gen 2" inspections experience. The company aims to provide a single solution for form creation and usage through their Universal Designer, delivering a multi-platform user experience that can continue to improve.
