New Inc 5000 List Identifies Growth Businesses in the Microsoft Dynamics Ecosystem

Inc. 5000Inc. Magazine has released its latest Inc. 5000 list, rating companies based on their revenue growth over the last three years. The list has historically had IT and software firms that operate in the Microsoft channel and serve Dynamics ERP and CRM customers in particular, and this year includes at least six firms that play in this space to some degree.

This year's list features no less than five companies that the Dynamics community will recognize. These companies and all others on the list met several criteria to be included. They must have revenue over $2 million in the most recent year and they must provide the contest organizers with financial information certified by an accountant or lawyer to show revenue over the last three years. The average company on the list reportedly achieved a three-year growth rate of 433%.

What makes the Inc. 5000 particularly interesting is that companies - mostly privately held - willingly hand over financial information as part of the application process. In exchange for the PR, the rest of us get a peek into their performance. The list does not use other interesting business metrics like profitability and cash flow.

This year's list includes at least seven eight nine companies that Dynamics ERP and CRM users and professionals should recognize. They took in between $9 million and $165 million in 2015 revenue. That stands in comparison to fifteen companies in the space that made last year's list.
