MSX Group Introduces Prospero Financial Reporting Analysis Solution To Microsoft Dynamics GP Market

Microsoft has recently advised the Dynamics GP community that its standard financial reporting solution, Management Reporter will no longer receive  eaningful enhancements. If you are a GP customer and you use MR happily, then keep using it. For now. If you want a solution with R&D investment and a future roadmap, look elsewhere.

"Large features like going forward to the cloud and other major enhancements will not be made to Management Reporter for Dynamics GP," Pam Misialek wrote. In that same blog post, Pam noted that the same is true for Microsoft Dynamics SL, but that AX will continue to have development work completed for Management Reporter.

No more Microsoft investment in MR for GP removes a significant obstacle for ISVs and is expected to accelerate sales of other products. The veteran financial reporting consultancy MSX Group has announced it is introducing its Prospero financial reporting solution to the Dynamics GP community.

MSX Group is no stranger to the GP space - its team of consultants, developers, support staff and technicians come from the original FRx, Management Reporter and Forecaster Business Intelligence Teams from Microsoft. We interviewed their Managing Partner, Noah Moseley, to learn more about Prospero.
