Microsoft teams up with the UK Met Office for climate supercomputing
Microsoft is working with the UK's Meteorological Office, better known as the Met Office, on climate and meteorological supercomputing. Through the agreement, Microsoft will integrate HPE Cray EX supercomputers with Azure and Microsoft high-performance data archiving. The announcement comes just days after the company inked an MoU with the UK government for its cloud computing initiatives more broadly.
