Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service growth is "on fire" these days. That's according to Ben Vollmer, global Dynamics 365 Field Service director, who noted positive signals across several metrics as the company heads into a busy event and sales readiness season.

Monthly active usage of Field Service is up over 100 percent year over year for the second year in a row,  Vollmer told Microsoft MVP Rick McCutcheon in a recent interview.

He also shared that Microsoft customers now manage 255 million customer assets in the cloud service and they are adding 15 million a month. By comparison, Vollmer said, a competing vendor recently reported that it manages 200 million assets after ten years in business.
