Power Apps user-defined functions GA
On the Microsoft Power Platform Blog, Greg Lindhorst wrote that user-defined functions (UDFs) in Power Apps have reached general availability.
Lindhorst noted that with version 2508.3, the preview switch for UDFs has been removed, and the new analysis engine switch (found in the new section) has been updated to cover UDFs.
He added that since UDFs rely on the new analysis engine, we combined them into one switch. For any new apps, this switch will already be turned on by default.
Lindhorst stated that if you're new to UDFs, they make apps easier to create, understand, test, and maintain, and they also help Visual Studio load and save apps faster.
In his post, Lindhorst explained how they do this.

Writing on his blog, Rajeev Pentyala noted that if you're storing sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, or users' email addresses, you want to ensure this information is protected during customer interactions so it doesn't accidentally get exposed.
