Junction Solutions Releases a Stand-Alone Direct Store Delivery Solution For Microsoft Dynamics AX

Chicago-based Junction Solutions, a vendor of software applications and services for the food and beverage, multi-channel retail and distribution industries, has released a Direct Store Delivery application for Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Offered in an on-demand or on-premise version, the independent Junction Solutions' Direct Store Delivery (DSD) solution was created to address key issues facing food and beverage, consumer packaged goods and non-durable goods businesses that deal with highly regulated, complex routing or dynamic demand volume distribution requirements.

Junction Solutions' DSD helps companies deliver goods, manage inventory and track products from dispatch to onsite delivery to end-of-day route reconciliation, according to company officials. The solution is native in Microsoft Dynamics AX and is available as an independent application to all Dynamics AX customers, whether or not they currently use Junction Solutions' product suite.

"Junction Solutions' DSD solution suite offers multiple advantages to Dynamics AX users. The new on-demand version is extremely cost-effective since IT hardware support and software maintenance costs are reduced," said Christian Hutter, vice president of food and beverage, Junction Solutions, in a statement. "For Dynamics AX users, the solution is exceptionally quick and easy to implement, and the speed of adoption is fast since they are already familiar with the environment."
