Copilot Studio extension for Visual Studio Code is now generally available
On the Microsoft Copilot Studio Blog, Sarah Critchley wrote that if you're building agents with the Copilot Studio extension for Visual Studio Code, you probably already know the easiest way to move fast is to treat your agent like regular software.
She noted that this means versioning it, reviewing changes, and confidently moving it through different environments.
However, Critchley pointed out that now that the Microsoft Copilot Studio extension for Visual Studio Code is generally available, you can build and manage Copilot Studio agents directly inside the IDE you already work in every day.
In her blog post, Critchley explained what you can do with the Copilot Studio extension for Visual Studio Code, adding that it's designed for the way engineering teams actually work. She also provided information on how to develop Copilot Studio agents using GitHub Copilot.
