Power Pages: a simple and secure way to build web pages

On the PowerApps911 blog, Nicola Young wrote that the Power Platform aims to make application development accessible to people with little or no coding experience, and Power Pages follows this goal.

However, she stated that Power Pages is not as low-code as some other tools within the platform. She pointed out that originating from Dynamics 365 Portals and built on Dataverse, Power Pages functions as a model-driven app on the backend.

Young wrote that currently, users can create only basic pages with its out-of-the-box features, but to achieve more complex designs, they need to know HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or Liquid.

She noted that although organizations can create simple pages using low-code, they need full development resources to build more sophisticated interfaces. Young explained that the Microsoft team is working to integrate more Power FX features into Pages, but it's still in the early stages.

In her blog post, Young wrote that you can use Power Pages to build for two different types of users: authenticated or anonymous, and she offered detail information on doing so.
