Progressus Software announces major release to enhance Dynamics 365 for professional services firms
Velosio, a cloud applications partner for midmarket companies, has announced that a major release of Progressus is coming in January, 2024. Progressus adds key project accounting and project management functionality to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central specifically designed for consulting, technology services, architecture, engineering, and other project firms, such as software publishers and industrial equipment manufacturers, according to the company.
The new release of Progressus will contain several new features, including multi-company management, client relationship management functionality, and AI-powered insights. These features will be included in the first quarter update in 2024, the company said.
And the integration of Microsoft Copilot to Dynamics 365 Business Central will allow Progressus to use artificial intelligence and natural language processing to allow business users to create content faster.
"The Microsoft platform, coupled with forward-thinking technologies like generative AI and Microsoft Copilot, is not only transforming the realm of software development but also improving the user experience and driving higher adoption rates for solutions like Progressus," said James Thomas, industry director for project businesses at Velosio.
Alpine IQ announces improved integration with 365 Cannabis
Alpine IQ, a provider of data-driven marketing, analytics, and loyalty solutions, has announced an improved integration with 365 Cannabis, a vertically integrated ERP software solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This advanced integration simplifies the interactions between customers and retailers and gives retailers they tools they need to enhance customer loyalty and boost sales, according to the companies. This integration lets retailers easily enroll loyalty members, link rewards to promotions, and redeem them within the ERP using a single click.

Leasepath & Great American Insurance Group to collaborate on innovations for equipment finance
Leasepath, the cloud-first equipment finance lifecycle platform powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, is collaborating with Great American Insurance Group’s specialty equipment division, a provider of equipment insurance solutions for the equipment finance industry, to enhance insurance management for the equipment finance industry.
Leveraging the technologies offered by Leasepath and Microsoft Dynamics 365, the companies expect to bring a number of benefits to customers, including easy insurance quoting during finance originations, automated invoicing, and real-time insurance coverage updates, according to the companies. This will help improve the speed of service and give Leasepath and Great American customers access to data-driven insights.
