SherWeb expands its cloud offering with unified communications as a service

SherWeb has launched a new cloud-based UCaaS (unified communications-as-a-service) solution for the US and Canadian cloud and telecom markets.

The company has integrated its hosted PBX solution with Microsoft cloud products, including Office 365 and Dynamics 365. The UCaaS solution aims to encourage workplace collaboration, increase productivity, support business growth and mobility, and save money, according to company officials. The UCaaS tool is intended for SMBs and large enterprises as well as channel partners, MSPs, VARs, and telecom resellers.

"Our new tool will help telecom channel partners stand out from the crowd by having a unique differentiation that isn't just another flavor of Hosted PBX," said Michael Slater, SherWeb's technical solutions manager. "We stand out as the only fully channel-ready Office 365 and voice product with a single point of distribution that handles the support, migration and deployment."

Elmo updates Agni Link for Dynamics 365

Elmo Solutions has rolled out an enhanced version of the Agni Link CAD PDM PLM integration system for Dynamics 365.

The company has started shipping a connector for Agni Link, its live, bidirectional CAD PDM PLM to ERP data integration system, that will provide support for the cloud and on-premises versions of D365 Finance and Operations and D365 Business Central, according to company officials.

"The Agni Link connectors for Dynamics 365 are a natural evolution of our existing Dynamics NAV and Dynamics AX connectors, which were first introduced in 2007," said science officer Ricardo Talbot, in a statement. "Knowing Agni Link is a Dynamics 365–compatible product will reassure . . . users they are achieving a very high level of productivity when using Agni Link and Microsoft."
