Encore Business Solutions Acquires Candlewest

Microsoft Gold Partner Encore Business Solutions, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada has acquired Microsoft Dynamics partner Candlewest Systems.

Under the terms of the deal, all the services previously endorsed under the Candlewest name will now be marketed and promoted under the Encore brand. The acquisition includes one office in Burnaby, British Columbia, and the employees who currently sell and service Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV, CRM as well as the entire customer base of Candlewest, according to company officials.

The new combined company represents about 100 employees based out of four office locations in Western Canada as well as some strategically located across Canada and 600 ERP and CRM customers located throughout Canada, company officials said.

"The closing of this acquisition signifies our opportunity to bring an increased level of confidence to our customers and that is ultimately how we measure our own success as an organization," said Brent Twist, CEO of Encore, in a statement.

The Candlewest acquisition follows Encore's acquisition in 2013 of the RSC Group, a former Vancouver, British Columbia-based Dynamics Gold Partner.
