Thornton Tomasetti selects Dynamics 365 and HSO's aec360 for its next-generation cloud-based business management platform

Microsoft solutions partner HSO, author of the aec360 business management suite, announced that scientific and engineering consulting company Thornton Tomasetti has selected Dynamics 365 and HSO’s aec360 as the firm's new cloud-based business management platform.

HSO’s aec360 pre-configures and extends Dynamics 365 to meet the unique needs of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries and gives firms, such as Thornton Tomasetti a 360-degree view of their finances, projects, clients, and people in one cloud platform, according to HSO.

"We're very excited to welcome Thornton Tomasetti to the aec360 family," said Andy Yeomans, executive vice president at HSO's professional services industry group. "Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, combined with HSO's aec360, provides a modern technology foundation that will help them grow, evolve and future-proof their business without limitations."

Sikich expands in Chicago and India with acquisition of Accelerated Growth

Microsoft partner Sikich LLP is acquiring Accelerated Growth, an accounting, finance, and technology consulting firm based in Chicago. Accelerated Growth has optimized the accounting, finance, and technology infrastructures of more than 300 firms from startup to middle market to the venture divisions of Fortune 500 companies, according to the companies.

This acquisition will allow Sikich to grow its outsourced accounting and international operations, stated Chris Geier, CEO of Sikich. "Adding the Accelerated Growth team strengthens our firm's capabilities and enhances the foundation for us to scale our service offerings to our clients," he said.

Approximately 120 Accelerated Growth employees will join Sikich, including 50 in the U.S. and 70 in India. The Accelerated Growth team will join Sikich's downtown Chicago office and will also retain its offices in Bangalore and Ahmedabad, according to the companies.
