Why not use those navigation lists in Dynamics GP?
On the Encore blog, Lauri Romaniuk stated that many users just aren't taking advantage of the capabilities of navigation lists. She pointed out that she tries to educate users on the benefits of using navigation lists over SmartLists.
In her blog post, she noted her three favorite uses for navigation lists. The first is for fixed assets, particularly to perform actions on groups of assets. The second use is for mailing posted and unposted sales order processing documents and the third is for mass email settings.
We have a lot of GP clients now wanting to utilize emailing of documents for their customers and vendors. This can be a large task to initially set up, depending on the number of customer or vendors involved.
However, it's easier to do this using the navigation list capabilities, according to Romaniuk.
