Microsoft Dynamics GP March 2025 hotfix now available
Writing on the Dynamics GP Support and Services blog, Terry Heley thanked the partners that spotted and reported a small issue with the 18.7 upgrade process.
She noted that the team caught it early in the 18.7 release, but they still had to release a quick fix. She stated that if you're planning to upgrade to Dynamics GP, you should use the updated installation.
In her blog post, Heley pointed out that in version 18.7, the team added a new table (PM80810) to store vendor remit address details in history. She wrote that once you're on 18.7 and post payables batches, this table automatically fills with the necessary information.
However, she provided information about a problem that occurred when upgrading again from an 18.7 version. Heley noted that for any Dynamics GP upgrades, she strongly recommended using the March Hotfix. She added that the core version (18.7.1801) remains the same, but the installation process has been updated.
Heley then explained the issue that the 18.7.1801 March Hotfix release resolved.
