Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 Feature of the Day series focuses on new 'Big Rocks'
When the Microsoft Dynamics GP product management team starts their "Feature of the Day" blog series, you know the release plans are getting serious.
Dynamics GP product manager Pam Misialek kicked of the GP 2015 Feature of the Day series earlier this week. The release is planned for later this calendar year and focuses on a new set of "big rocks":
- Service Based Architecture
- Identity Management
- Azure Procurement
- Apps on multiple platforms
The series has started with Workflow 2.0 workflow types like GL, Payables, and Receivables Batches. Each one is accompanied by a brief slide deck with key points and a screenshot.
As Microsoft program manager Jared Hall told an MSDynamicsWorld.com audience recently, Workflow 2.0 expands its footprint by adding nine new processes in GP 2015. Beyond those batch approval workflow types already covered, others in GP 2015 will be:
- Vendor Approval
- Project Expense Approval
- Direct Deposit Approval
- Employee Skills and Training Approval
- Employee Profile Approval
- W4 Approval
