Microsoft Dynamics Goes Mainstream: Where Will MBS Teams End Up?
Top managers in Microsoft Business Solutions Group (MBS) will be continuing on under new leadership following today's organizational restructuring announcement. In an email to partners, Kirill Tatarinov explained where several of his direct reports will be going, and he revealed that he will be staying on for a time to assist in the transition.
Technical Fellow Mike Ehrenberg will continue to lead the Dynamics ERP organization and Bob Stutz will remain the head of Dynamics CRM, both within the Cloud and Enterprise (C+E) team, according to Tatarinov's email. Ehrenberg and Stutz will report directly to C+E leader Scott Guthrie.
"This alignment will help further accelerate our Dynamics ERP and CRM work, provide greater collaboration on the significant work and integration we are doing with the Azure platform, and will mainstream these Dynamics teams into Microsoft," Tatarinov wrote.
The MBS Sales & Partner team, under Neil Holloway, will become part of the Sales, Marketing and Services Group (SMSG) led by Kevin Turner.
The MBS Marketing team, led by Wayne Morris, will report into the Corporate Marketing Group, led by EVP and CMO Chris Capossela. CEO Satya Nadella noted Capossela's new Dynamics responsibilities in his letter to employees earlier today.
"These changes will allow us to further evolve the deep connections that already exist today and will not affect the field organization you work with every day in your various locations," wrote Tatarinov. He also revealed that he will be staying with Microsoft during a transition period. He wrote:
