Adding Extra Dashboards in Dynamics 365/CRM

On the Ledgeview Partners CRM blog, Chad Collett stated that a Dynamics 365 (CRM) dashboard only supports up to six frames.

Frames can be charts, lists, social insights, web resources or iFrames - iFrames can contain entire dashboards. The process of using an iFrame to place one dashboard inside another dashboard is called embedding a dashboard. This process allows a dashboard to support more than six frames, he stated.

However, you'll need customization privileges in Dynamics 365 to do this or you can contact your admin for help.

Dynamics 365 - You Can't Add New Forms to the Appointment Entity

On Hosk's Dynamics CRM Blog, Ben Hosking writes that just when you think you understand Dynamics 365, it tricks you into thinking your browser is broken.

Hosking stated that he was trying to add a form to the appointment entity, when he discovered that the new create form button was missing. He tried it in different browsers but the create form button was still missing.

So he asked another developer to add a new appointment form but the button was also missing for that developer. After a little research, he thought the Outlook integration was the most logical reason.
