Troubleshooting: "There is no active transaction" error
On his Work and Study Book - Dynamics CRM Blog, Andre Margono said that recently he encountered a very strange error when he was working with his team to create a very simple workflow.
[O]n a status update, if the status is equal to a specific status, create a task that is assigned to a specific team. However, we can’t proceed due to a very strange reason:
This is the error message:
“There is no active transaction. This error is usually caused by custom plug-ins that ignore errors from service calls and continue processing.”
When Margono searched to see if anyone else had encountered the error, he discovered a blog post from several years ago that offered suggestions on what to check to fix the error. But none of the suggestions worked.
