Microsoft Dynamics 365 Training Insights, Session 2: Accounts Payable
Welcome to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) training insights series. In each article, we will look at a different role, type of content, or training model. Here, in our second session, we will be providing training insights on accounts payable. We will cover the audience, content, timing, nature, and approach to this training and finish with a quick tip.
Training in accounts payable is for your back office financial personnel such as AP managers, clerks, and others involved with vendor payments. These users utilize the financial foundation laid by the core financials team to setup and process payments.
This training covers tasks around vendor management, vendor invoices, and vendor payments, including 1099 handling.
As soon as the learners are trained on core financials, which was covered in our previous session, they can start training on the accounts payable functions.
Companies have more control over their internally facing functions, and they can dictate those internal processes to their vendors. Since accounts payable fit into both categories, it is rarely customized. Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides rich functionality and configuration options in this functional area as well.
