Enhancing data visibility: The new view setting feature in D365 wave 1 2025

Writing on his blog, Deepesh Somani stated that one of the most exciting updates in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement wave 1 2025 release is the new view setting feature. 

He pointed out that this feature makes it much easier for users to customize their views and control who can see specific data. Somani added that a key improvement is the ability to apply security roles to views, allowing organizations to manage data visibility more effectively.

Somani noted that in earlier versions of D365CE, users could customize views, but it wasn't easy for them to control who could access specific views. He explained that with this update, Microsoft now allows security roles to be assigned to views, making it easier for admins to manage access to sensitive data while giving users more flexibility to organize their workspaces.

In his blog post, Somani discussed how to update to the new version of D365CE and enable this feature.
