Enabling dark mode in Dynamics 365 CE (Power Apps too!)
Writing on the CRM SoftwareBlog, Brian Begley from enCloud9 noted that dark mode has become increasingly popular among computer users due to several benefits. It can help reduce eye strain, enhance readability, and potentially extend device battery life. He also stated that some users just think it looks cool.
Begley stated that although Dynamics 365 has traditionally lacked a dedicated dark mode option, users have previously been able to simulate this look using available themes. However, he noted that while doing some research on another topic, he came across a piece on the Hacking Power Platform blog.
It seems that appending &flags=themeOption%3Ddarkmode onto your hubs URL, the app will present itself in dark mode.
In his blog post, Begley explained what you have to do to make it always show in dark mode in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. He also pointed out a couple other issues you need to consider.
