How to export data to Excel in analysis mode
Writing on his blog, Yun Zhu noted that data analysis mode was first released as a preview in early 2023 to help users analyze list pages. Later that year, it became fully available in Business Central, allowing users to analyze data from both list pages and queries.
Zhu wrote that on a list page, you can export data to Excel using either "open in Excel" or "edit in Excel." He stated that open in Excel lets you view and change the data in Excel, but the edits stay in your Excel file only.
However, he pointed out that in analysis mode, there are no such actions. In his blog post, Zhu offered two ways for you to export the current data to Excel.
