Need local features for your country? Now you can build your own!

On the Dynamics NAV Team Blog, the team stated that in 20 countries, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central currently offers the same out-of-the-box support for local features as Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

These local features cover specific needs of the various countries, such as requirements for reporting tax or formats for exchanging information with banks. But because of the flexibility of Dynamics NAV, Microsoft partners can customize the solution to deliver local functionality to their markets around the world. Until now, though, they couldn't do that with Business Central.

Now, partners can add features as upgradable, easy-to-maintain apps in the countries that aren't already supported. For example, partners in South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa have already wrapped their local functionality into apps for those countries, and partners in other countries are beginning to do the same, according to the team.
