Data management for bookkeepers in Dynamics 365 Business Central
Writing on the JourneyTEAM blog, Dave Bollard pointed out that bookkeepers need access to the right data management tools to be effective.
In his blog post, Bollard explained how D365BC can enable bookkeepers to work more efficiently. For example, the integration between D365BC and Microsoft Outlook enables bookkeepers to handle invoices s possible to enter and automate purchase invoices directly from their email clients.
Business Central: Obsoleting events
On his blog, Stefano Demiliani stated that he was going to write about a "worst practice" related to extensions and the concept of events.
If you have extension A that defines some business logic and then you have extension B (that depends on A), from B you can interact with the business logic defined on A only by subscribing to events raised by extension A.
Demiliani explained the two types of events you can define when you create an extension with the AL programming language. He then described what's needed for obsoleting events.
