Microsoft Dynamics 365 AI for Sales now generally available, with other apps entering public preview

Microsoft Dynamics 365 AI for Sales, one of the company's three initial solution areas under the "AI" branch of the Business Applications group, is now generally available, according to the company. It is available on AppSource with both a "test drive" (demo environment) or a free trial available.

Microsoft had advised in recent weeks that Dynamics 365 AI for Sales would enter public preview as part of the October 2018 release of business applications. But, according to Dynamics 365 for Sales general manager, Ariel Katz, "Dynamics 365 AI for Sales is now generally available."

In Katz's words, the product is designed for a range of roles, not just managers:

AI for Sales builds on the intelligent capabilities already incorporated in our core Dynamics 365 for Sales application, bringing data from Dynamics 365, Office 365, and LinkedIn together to put additional insights into the hands of field sellers, inside sales reps, and sales managers.

Today there is a public preview of the sales manager capabilities.
