New Copilot AI capabilities are coming to the Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit by way of Dynamics 365 Marketing, Teams, and other applications, with a focus on improving fundraising and donor-centric marketing, as well as with a new donor propensity model.

Microsoft Philanthropies' Tech for Social Impact group, which manages the cloud offering, also revealed new tools and integrations coming through partnerships with other nonprofit technology product and service firms.

Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit's use of Dynamics 365 Marketing will benefit from the recently announced Copilot capabilities by giving nonprofit marketers the ability to use natural language queries to build campaign segments based on personas, communication preferences, and other attributes, wrote Justin SpelhaugVice President of Tech for Social Impact. Copilot for D365 Marketing can also be used in nonprofit scenarios to streamline the creation of communications to donors, volunteers, and others, Spelhaug pointed out.
