Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare, a new industry-focused solution, launches

Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare launches today, offering a production-ready suite of services and solutions for the healthcare industry.
The product went into public preview in May and builds upon a range of Microsoft products including Dynamics 365 Marketing, D365 Customer Voice, D365 Customer Insights, Azure IoT, Microsoft Healthcare Bot Service, Teams, Microsoft 365, Azure FHIR service, and the Power Platform.
Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare (MCfH) provides tools for both care teams and patients. It includes a self-service portal and chat bots, with the ability escalate calls to live customer service. Providers can offer tele-health, acute care triage, diagnosis and treatment, and manage long-term follow up. The elements of MCfH work together and share data, and they build on an integration with a third-party electronic health record system for patient data management.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella noted the launch in the company's earnings call this week.
