Microsoft announces pricing updates for Dynamics 365 Business Central

Microsoft has announced pricing updates coming to Dynamics 365 Business Central in October 2025, with the most common subscription licenses increasing between ten and fifteen percent. 

The changes will impact the Business Central Essentials, Premium, and Device licenses. They will be accompanied by increased storage allocations of between 33 and 50 percent. 

Positioning it as the first increase in five years, Microsoft CVP Bryan Goode noted the product team’s ongoing semi-annual release waves that  have improved key areas like analytics and localization, along with new capability areas like master data management, sustainability, and, of course, various AI experiences and tools.

The changes will be effective October 1, 2025, and the products will be priced comparably across different currencies, Goode stated. They will apply to new subscriptions and to existing subscriptions upon their first renewal on or after October 1, 2025.
