Microsoft acquires Orions Systems, gaining video AI tools to augment Dynamics 365 Connected Store
Microsoft has acquired Orions Systems to advance the video AI and management capabilities of Dynamics 365 Connected Store, the retail in-store optimization solution that uses computer vision and other sensor-based data analysis.
Microsoft corporate vice president for Dynamics 365 Muhammad Alam made the announcement today, stating that the technology from Orions Systems will expand the Dynamics 365 retail offerings and others:
