Technology partner Velosio announced it has hired Jeff Edwards to lead the company's Microsoft Indirect CSP business, Stratos Cloud Alliance.

Edwards joins Velosio as Senior Vice President, Channels. He was most recently at Financial Force, where he served as VP of global channels. Until 2017, he spent many years serving in leadership roles at Microsoft related to ERP and CRM partner programs and strategy. He left Microsoft in 2017 to lead the channel business at GE's Energy Distribution division and joined Financial Force in 2018.

In his years at Microsoft, Edwards was involved in several initiatives that shaped the Dynamics channel. He supported efforts by partners to build broader and deeper channel businesses and promoted the value of industry-focused channel businesses. He helped define strategy for VAR and ISV competencies and certifications as wells as programs that led to today's Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program.
