Microsoft will launch a preview of Dynamics 365 Connected Spaces in the next month. Connected Spaces will supersede D365 Connected Store, announced in 2019.

Connected Spaces will aim to serve a broader range of business needs that include optimizing retail spaces as well as scenarios like health and safety of workers, Microsoft says. It provides "low-code capabilities to control observations and then produce real-time, predictive insights," according to an announcement made at Ignite 2021 this week.

Connected Store went into preview in 2020.
