I.B.I.S. Inc. Sells Microsoft Dynamics GP Practice to Socius, Will Focus on AX and CRM

Ohio-based business consulting firm Socius has acquired the Microsoft Dynamics GP practice of veteran Microsoft partner I.B.I.S. Inc.

The GP practice has long been a staple of the I.B.I.S. business, but the company has made clear moves in recent years to focus its efforts on its Dynamics AX ERP business. The company launched its Advanced Distribution Software, based on AX, in 2013 and were named a Global ISV soon after.

At the time, I.B.I.S. CEO Andy Vabulas described the move as having huge potential for the company's growth. They now market their solution Advanced Supply Chain Software for Microsoft Dynamics AX, for both distributors and manufacturers.

Andy Vabulas, Owner and Chief Executive Officer, I.B.I.S., Inc. said in a statement:

"It is with mixed emotions that we enter into this agreement to sell our Dynamics GP business to Socius. By divesting our Dynamics GP business, we are now laser focused on our Dynamics AX and CRM businesses and related intellectual property.
