eXtreme365 Lisbon: Rebranded event broadens Microsoft product focus, opens doors to customers

Formerly eXtremeCRM, eXtreme365 is a new and expanded event.

This month's eXtreme365 2017 Lisbon, will be the fourteenth conference in the event's seven year history, and updates to the event reflect changes to the product line and ways that the community is adapting.

"The event originated as a CRM conference and has expanded just recently from CRM to encompass the entire Dynamics 365 stack and the partner community. We have now also added a customer event," says Joe Corigliano, eXtreme 2017 Lisbon board of directors.

This season's conference is being held at the Epic Sana Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal from March 13-March 17. The first three days, March 13-15, are for partners only, and offer them session content and direct Microsoft-to-partner messaging, spanning sales, marketing, and technical topics, as well as an executive track just for practice executives.

The customer event directly follows on March 16 and 17 and is aimed at the business decision maker and the Dynamics customer organization. The combined event registration shows over 100% year over year growth, stated Corigliano.

From Dynamics CRM to 365

The event organizers decided to rebrand the event eXtreme365 after Microsoft announced Dynamics 365 in July last year.

"It no longer makes sense to stay 100 percent focused on CRM," says Christy Spokely, CEO of Extreme LLC, the organization that runs eXtreme365 and other community-based events and activities. "We needed to become a vessel to help partners move to this new model with Microsoft."
