Experlogix Unveils Configurator Portal Edition for Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Experlogix Inc. has unveiled a portal edition of its sales configurator for Microsoft Dynamics CRM to allow organizations to offer their sales configuration options to customers, channel partners and prospects online.

When quotes and orders are configured by the Experlogix Portal Edition, they are also automatically created in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, making order entry more efficient and making the sales information more easily visible, according to the company.

"We are delighted to be working with world class manufacturers to help strengthen their sales operations," says Jeff Holway, VP sales and marketing, Experlogix, in a statement. "Our configurator combined with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an ideal platform for organizations that need a proven, web-based configurator solution that is simple to use and maintain with a low total cost of ownership."

Experlogix customer Beachcomber Hot Tubs, a manufacturer of hot tubs in Vancouver, British Columbia, recently launched the Experlogix Portal Edition to speed up the quote and order process via the web for its dealer network.

Chris Finlayson, Beachcomber's marketing services coordinator, said the Experlogix Portal Configurator lets the company's dealers configure a tub faster and more accurately. The Experlogix tool walks the dealers through the option selection process, accurately calculates pricing, and integrates with the company's ERP system.

"Our people now have access to see orders in process, and configured quotes through Microsoft Dynamics CRM allowing them to serve our customers better," he said.

Dantherm Filtration Inc., an air filtration systems manufacturer in Thomasville, North Carolina, is extending Experlogix to its sales partners so they can configure custom products and services and quoting via the web-the second phase of its Experlogix Configurator implementation
