Dayton, Ohio-based Ellipse Solutions will once again welcome Microsoft Dynamics customers to their home town in November for D365 Tech Connect, a two-day event focused on the technical aspects of Dynamics 365 emerging technologies including AI, Co-Pilot, Machine Learning, Power Platform, and more. The 10+ sessions are educational and delivered by technical experts, with content for both newcomers and a more advanced technical audience.

MSDW is a media sponsor of the event, so we talked to Channel Development & Alliances Manager Bobby Small about the Ellipse team's plans for this year's event.

MSDW: How did D365 Tech Connect get started?

Bobby Small: This event started years ago as an internal meeting for the technical folks at Ellipse Solutions to share new technology in Dynamics 365. Developers and solution architects would pick a topic of interest and present it to the entire technical team in both the US and our international offices. After conducting a few of these gatherings, Ellipse Solutions decided to open the event up the public and invite end-users and other ISV partners to join the conversation.

What happens at D365 Tech Connect?

The event is much like other conferences in the Microsoft Dynamics space, it is filled with technical goodness and much more, including:

  • 10 Education sessions including Microsoft technical specialists!
  • Relevant sponsor solution showcases!
  • Access to experts in a relaxed setting!
  • FOOD (breakfast, lunch, snacks)!
  • Networking Happy Hour and Dinner!
  • Charity team building activity!

Who typically attends D365 Tech Connect?

All the cool kids! This is a technically focused event so it is well-suited for Developers, Administrators, and high-level SME’s, but anyone is welcome and will benefit from the educational content and access to network and expert resources.

Why should members of the community attend D365 Tech Connect?

If you are interested in deepening your technical knowledge, meeting with industry experts, strengthening your reach in the D365 community, then Tech Connect is a perfect event. The central east coast location allows for easy access from some major hub areas and the low-cost fee to attend, $89, is a bargain for a conference of this quality.
