Socius Acquires Technology Consulting Group to Expand Microsoft Dynamics Practice Across the Country

Socius, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner has acquired the Microsoft Dynamics practice of CBIZ Technologies.

The acquisition will allow Socius to provide technology consulting services for CBIZ's Microsoft Dynamics clients, while enabling CBIZ to focus on its core accounting, tax, and business advisory services, the companies said in a statement.

As a result of the acquisition Socius said its clients now have access to more consultants. Socius also said it has added locations in Tennessee, Kansas City, and Northern California to serve new customers in those areas.

"This is a tremendous milestone in our continued growth," said Jeffrey Geisler, Socius's CEO, in a statement. "We are very excited to work with the CBIZ Technologies staff in each of these locations as they continue to serve their clients. We are confident that these additions to the Socius team will deliver great benefits for all of our clients."

Prior to the acquisition, CBIZ Technologies provided implementation, training, and consultating to small and mid-size organizations in various cities throughout the United States. Its specialties were Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics CRM, and Microsoft SharePoint, according to the statement.

CBIZ Technologies had been a member of Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle for 10 years and a member of the Microsoft Dynamics President's Club for 13 years.

Socius provides ERP, CRM, business intelligence, and collaboration solutions from Microsoft Dynamics including Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics SL, Advanced Distribution for Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM as well as technology based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, according to the statement.
