Do More With Microsoft Dynamics GP: A GPUG All Star’s Advice on Getting The Most From Summit

Aaron Back is a veteran Microosft Dynamics GP user, and he has developed some clear ideas on how he and his peers can take ownership of their GP solutions. One way, he believes, is by attending GPUG Summit to learn and plan for the future.

Aaron BackBack was awarded the GPUG All Star designation at last year's GPUG Summit, and he will play a key role this year at GPUG Summit 2015 in October. He has used and administered Dynamics GP at numerous positions, now as a senior application specialist with CareSource, a non-profit managed care company based in Dayton, Ohio. He has been involved with GPUG for over four years, and last year was elected Chairman of the GPUG Advisory Board as well, which he describes as "a new adventure."

Back is also a member of the GPUG Summit Planning Committee and a ceaseless contributor to the GPUG community forum. He discussed with us how new and returning attendees can get the most out of GPUG Summit.

MSDW: What do you recall most from GPUG Summit 2014?

Back: The first thing I think of is the tremendous growth that happened as the organization is growing in strength as a hub for people to come to for practical knowledge about GP. Our goal [in 2014] was around 800 attendees and we had more than 900, and our goal this year is 1,100. We have over 700 registered already.
