Directions EMEA 2022: Dynamics 365 Business Central is the fastest growing of Microsoft's Business Apps

SMB is the fastest growing segment of Microsoft’s Business Applications portfolio, and Dynamics 365 Business Central is the fastest growing product in the group, with "triple digit" growth year over year. Addressing the Directions EMEA 2022 audience of nearly 3,000 in Hamburg this week,  Microsoft GM Toby Bowers also stated that the SMB ERP's customer base has grown sixty percent in the last year. 

Microsoft presenters also asked partners to help share Business Central’s computing performance successes. The SaaS platform has been performing to its target levels even as the customer base has grown. They shared that:

• 99.84% of session minutes served by the service are within the target capacity
• database resources are running within target capacity 99.96% of the time

Microsoft group project manager Dmitry Chadayev said the BC service team’s work has driven down the rate of growth of customer support calls to well below the rate of monthly active user growth, though he did not provide any numbers.
