With serious belt tightening across in the UK, including calls to reduce police budgets by nearly $1 billion over the next 3 years , 2011 might be the perfect time for departments to take a new look at hosted CRM solutions.  At least that's the hope of STL Technologies, a Microsfot Dynamics CRM provider for the criminal justice field who have announced a deal with hosted solutions provider 7global to support the hosted delivery of its Microsoft Dynamics CRM capabilities.

STL Technologies' criminal justice customers can now access the Microsoft Dynamics CRM application without the traditional upfront costs, a key to their pitch that adopting hosted CRM will help trim budgets down the required $878 million by 2014.

"We will work with UK-based 7global for its robust disaster recovery and back-up policies which are vital for our criminal justice customers," said Richard Perkins, Sales & Marketing Director, STL Technologies, in a statement. "And working with Microsoft means police forces can leverage any enterprise license agreements that they enjoy. Working securely in the Cloud delivers cost-effective, mobile access to data where it's needed most-on the street."

Jonathan Bunney, 7global's Channel Alliances Director, said 7global is dedicated to offering its clients an extensive range of management services with total transparency and predictability.

Bunney said 7global's track record of hosting secure CRM in its secure data center located in a former Bank of England Building combined with STL Technologies' criminal justice offering means that the companies can offer a hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution for police forces throughout the UK.
