Assistance Software, a vendor of solutions for the professional services industry, announced that it has rolled out a new flagship product, Assistance PSA for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Assistance PSA, which is intended for today's information worker, is based on Dynamics CRM's xRM application development framework. The product will enhance the standard Dynamics CRM functionality with project management, resource planning, time and expense registration and invoice capabilities and Microsoft SharePoint, according to the company. It will support multiple deployment options-on-premises, SaaS and later on Dynamics CRM Online, according to company officials.

The system streamlines the front office business processes, connects the various units of an organization and integrates all the relevant information-from CRM to project management. Assistance Software has worked closely with Microsoft to streamline project and practice management from first contact to contract to delivery, company officials said.

"Through the collaboration with Microsoft we can effectively target the professional services industry with local support from our worldwide partner network," said Martijn van der Hoeden, Assistance Software CEO, in a statement. "The combination of the Dynamics CRM platform with Assistance PSA is unique and is created for the information worker of today. Furthermore we provide a unique integration with Microsoft Outlook for easy and very user friendly time sheet registration."

Doug Kennedy, vice president, Microsoft Dynamics Partners, said Assistance Software is an example of a partner that is harnessing the power and flexibility of Dynamics CRM to meet the specific needs of its customers and help them be more productive.
