Are You a Convergence Junkie?

Convergence, Microsoft's premier Dynamics customer conference is almost upon us. This year's conference is April 10-13 in Atlanta, Georgia. In the past I've looked at ways to get the most out of Convergence and that advice still applies. MVP Mariano Gomez added his take this year with Five Ingredients for a successful Convergence in 2011.

There are lots of other great guides to Convergence out there but what about those of you who keep going back year after year? Do you go for the learning? For the fun?  For the CPE credits? Or are you just addicted? To help you out, here are the top ten signs that you might be a Convergence junkie.

  1. If you were there for Doug Burgum's classic Marco Polo keynote (I was), you might be a Convergence junkie
  2. If you think "Convergence" instead of "Fokker" when you hear the word "Gaylord", you might be a Convergence junkie
  3. If you rode the bull in Dallas, you might be a Convergence junkie
  4. If you volunteered to speak at Convergence just to get a free ticket (don't judge), you might be a Convergence junkie
  5. If you have stories that begin with "I was out so late after the Rockin' Rave that I didn't make the morning session," you might be a Convergence junkie
  6. If you partied with people who name their product "The Closer", you might be a Convergence junkie
