Akvelon centralizes Dynamics CRM administration for Enterprise Business Server
Akvelon Inc. is making it easier for administrators to manage Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications running on Microsoft's Enterprise Business Server (EBS) console.
The Bellevue, Wash.-based CRM consulting firm has released version 1.2 of its CRM Add-in, which centralizes Dynamics CRM management and enables administrators to view, edit, create or cancel CRM units directly from the EBS console.
According to Akvelon CEO Sergei Dreizin, users won't notice any significant differences from the previous version, which was released last year, but 1.2 incorporates significant changes "under the hood" that make it more powerful, he said.
The add-in is targeted to EBS customers with up to 250 users, some of whom have more elaborate CRM networks of business units and teams to administer than others, Dreizin said.
"Akvelon Dynamics CRM Add-in for EBS provides a convenient, single point of entry for Dynamics CRM administrators," Dreizin said. "By putting administrative control in the users' hands, Dynamics CRM Add-in for EBS will actually reduce the total cost of ownership and streamline workflow throughout an organization. We are pleased to introduce this tool to teams looking for a more unified way of approaching CRM tasks."
