D365: full text search
On Galyna Fedorova's Microsoft Dynamics AX blog, Fedorova stated that because companies collect a large amount of data in the system, such as items, customers, and prospects, they have to be able to do a quick and easy search.
For example, when you're creating a sales order, you have to find the right product/customer from the list.
Full-text search is a great way to simplify the search by examining all of the entities (products, customers, prospects) and matching search criteria to what you have typed in.
In her post, Fedorova described how to leverage D365 capabilities to do a full-text search. She stated that there are several configurations that should be done to work with this feature.

Importance of security process cycles in AX2012 security
On his Microsoft Dynamics AX Extensions blog, Sohaib Cheema stated that most users probably ignored this best practice and implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 security without putting objects into process cycles.
However, Cheema stated that he has paid the price for ignoring this best practice where Microsoft recommended putting each security duty, at the very least, under one process cycle.
