At the first-ever AI Agent and Copilot Summit, taking place from March 17-19, 2025 in San Diego, Microsoft customers and professionals will come together to hear the company’s latest product vision, connect with peers and community experts, and learn about trends that are defining the future of the Microsoft Business Applications space.

Tayyab Ali, CEO at AlphaBOLD, joined MSDW to discuss his expectations and plans for the event. AlphaBOLD is a sponsor of the AI Agent and Copilot Summit and the team will be presenting a masterclass covering AI agents, Azure AI Foundry, and how to use this class of tools and services to solve business problems. They will also be at booth 006.

The firm launched as a Microsoft partner in 2017 with an emphasis on being a “one-stop shop” for customers. It provides services for most of the Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 product families, as well as Azure, BI, development, and AI capabilities. The team serves SMBs and enterprises across industries, with a special focus on AEC (architecture, engineering, construction), manufacturing and financial services.

Ali explained that the applications and cloud services that his team will discuss at Summit can all be used to deliver results today:

In our session, the focus will be on business problems and how AI Foundry and Copilot can help. Copilot is essentially an agent to help people be more productive. It can assist in different business use cases: to generate product reports or to automate activities, for example.

With AI Foundry, Microsoft provides a lot of pre-baked solutions, either in conjunction with Copilot or as standalones. We’ll talk about how businesses can benefit from AI agents and how easy it is to build them with existing technology from Microsoft. We’ll look at real world examples of what we’ve seen our customers use.

Many customers are asking whether to build solutions from scratch, Ali has observed. Some are already building with off-the-shelf solutions. By embedding capabilities, customers can reduce their technology workloads.

“The goal is to leverage available technology without reinventing the wheel,” Ali said. For example, [M365] Copilot out-of-the-box is powerful but needs to be configured to the needs of each organization. Companies decide what data sets to expose, and Copilot works according to those sources.

AlphaBOLD is working to incorporate Copilot into specific use cases for different industries and geographies. In some cases, enterprise customers are requiring that they deploy solutions like ChatGPT within defined geographic boundaries to protect their data and comply with regulations.

Ali added that AlphaBOLD’s sponsorship of AI Agent and Copilot Summit North America 2025 allows the team to showcase its commitment to using the best technology to solve customer problems. Their goal is to help guide attendees on how to design and implement AI agents that meet specific business needs, starting with the end-to-end solution development methods. They will also explore the specific choices that organizations are likely to face in their AI journey, starting with identification and prioritization of practical use cases. Customers also need to understand how integration strategy, data management, and customization decisions will play into long-term success, Ali highlighted.

"[We aim to be] the partner that drives real results for our customers. Our approach is to break large projects into manageable phases," he explained. Tackling a smaller challenge first may not achieve full automation immediately, but it lays the foundation for long-term success. "We believe in a step-by-step approach, where each milestone builds on the last. Our holistic perspective ensures we understand customer pain points and implement the right technology stack to solve them effectively."
