Adobe Sign integration streamlines signatures, approvals in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics 365

Adobe Sign now integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 as well as the on-premise and online versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

The announcement comes after Adobe Sign signed a strategic partnership with Microsoft in September to "help businesses transform customer engagement through integrations across Adobe, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Dynamics 365."

The aim of Adobe Sign is to speed up the sales cycle and reduces delays in the approval process by adding trusted e-signatures to a company's existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM workflow, according to Jon Perera, vice president of product management for the Adobe Document Cloud.

With Adobe Sign, users can send documents for signature right from Dynamics CRM or Dynamics 365, track pending contracts in real time, and sign from any device in a few clicks, Perera stated. Then once the contracts are signed, copies of the approved documents are automatically sent to all approvers as Adobe PDF files.

With Adobe Sign Dynamics 365 users can:

  • Save time with templates: Create templates of common documents that anyone can select from the Adobe Sign library, customize with information from Dynamics, and send for signature.
  • Track approval status in real time right from Dynamics 365 (e.g., which documents have been viewed, opened, or signed), allowing users to know the status of their deals.
  • Take advantage of cross-browser support: Adobe Sign's integration now supports all major browsers including Safari, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer.
