Microsoft Names Aida Seifi Labrosse to Lead Dynamics 365 Business Central as Mike Morton Takes On D365 Sales
Microsoft has named Aida Seifi Labrosse as the new general manager of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Mike Morton, who led the product since 2020, is moving to a new role leading product for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.
Before being named to her new position, Seifi Labrosse served as partner group engineering manager for Business Central at Microsoft. In a LinkedIn post, she reflected on her more than two decades at the company.
"Business Central has been part of my life for 23 years, from Navision and Dynamics NAV to the global cloud business it is today," she said. "I have grown alongside this product, this team, and this extraordinary community."
Calling the promotion "the honor of my career," she said the company is entering one of the biggest technology shifts yet.
"The shift underway goes far beyond productivity," she wrote. "Alongside a Copilot for every person, the real breakthrough is an agent for every business process."
Seifi Labrosse said Microsoft plans to continue developing D365BC into a trusted AI platform that works with critical business processes while keeping people in control. She expects AI agents to help customers automate more routine work, allowing employees to focus on growing their businesses, while partners bring those innovations to organizations across industries.
She also thanked Morton for his leadership over the past six years. "Business Central achieved extraordinary growth on your watch and became a leading global business application for SMB," she said. As of April 2026, BC had passed 55,000 customers, the company reported.
Morton took over as general manager of D365BC in 2020, helping lead the platform as more customers moved to the cloud and Microsoft expanded its AI capabilities.
In a LinkedIn post announcing his move, Morton looked back on his time leading the D365BC team.
"When I joined the Business Central team in 2020, I was excited by the opportunity ahead," he wrote. "What I couldn't fully appreciate at the time was the passion, dedication, and sense of community that make Business Central so special."
He also praised Seifi Labrosse, saying he has worked closely with her for years and that "Business Central could not be in better hands."
Reflecting on what the team accomplished, Morton said, "Together, we've grown the Business Central business, accelerated our cloud transformation, and pushed the boundaries of what is possible with AI, Copilot, and the broader Microsoft platform."
Although Morton is moving from D365BC to D365 Sales, both he and Seifi Labrosse said they will continue working together as Microsoft develops new AI-powered business software.
