Changing address IDs for customers and vendors
On the Winthrop Development Consultants Blog, David Musgrave wrote that if you've ever needed to change an existing customer ID or vendor ID, you know there are tools available to do that.
However, he stated that if you need to change the address ID for addresses linked to customers or vendors, the process is much harder. There are no tools available, so you have to make the changes manually, which can be time-consuming and tedious.
In his post, Musgrave included free sample projects that add these tools to Dynamics GP by using the GP Power Tools Developer Tools module. He noted that the code can be downloaded and installed easily.
