How to import contact point consent records

Writing on her blog, Megan Walker stated that in real-time marketing with Customer Insights – Journeys, contact point consent (CPC) records are crucial for staying compliant because they ensure you don't email people who have unsubscribed. If you’ve always used the D365 marketing app, you’re likely covered, as the unsubscribe link in emails automatically updates or creates CPC records.

In her blog post, Walker explained how to import those records into real-time marketing if you're switching from another platform that already has a list of people on a suppression list who've previously unsubscribed.

She then walked you through how to import contact point consent records as data from your suppression list and get those CPC records added to real-time.
